Berlin Fashion Week: Piage Show

Etliche Showrooms, 3 Shows.

After all that stress at university, I finally made it to Berlin fashion week yesterday.
Many showrooms, three show. That was the plan. My outfit: Mum's vintage dress, my new Mulberry-Alexa bag and Görtz 17 platforms. Over that my Mango jacket and I was off to the fashion hotspots !
Firstly, I went to a showroom in Hotel Adlon Kempinski, but more about that in the next post.

Now the runway juice:

The first show started at 6 p.m. P.age, a label of two young designers from Berlin, opened the gates for the evening shows.
The show was a success: Great intro-trailer, top styled etno-hairstyles, the right models.
The collection was with some exceptions really good. I was amazed by the design of the dresses, which I had never seen before (pic. 4, pic. 10). They highlight the shoulders instead of breasts, which might be very useful for lots of women. The colors of the collection were decent, yet convenient. Sadly, some had an etno touch (pic.3), but as I said, gratefully, only some.
I was really unhappy about the shoes. No matter which girl or what kind of outfit, they all had permanently the same ones. I someone creates fashion, he should be aware of every detail, not only the clothes.Black booties belong to bare legs as much as the classic German tourist look to the fashion week. "No go".

Independently from the show, I spotted some really interesting outfits, such as the one from this young man in Burberry (pic.5). That kind of people are another reasons why it is worth going to fashion week.
Praise for the hair-dresser and make-up artists of the styling-lounge, who styled up the visiters in the same looks like the models. The money visiters paid was donated to a charity. I must say that the idee was great. Hence, I could refuse (pic.15).
This was my first revue. The other shows will be blogged tomorrow.

  17. Lucky you going to a fashion show! I'm jealous! I agree with you that the designers should pay attention to all details. It would have been better if the shoes had been picked specially for the outfit.
